ACMA Joins Austrian Chancellor Stocker’s Delegation on China Visit to Advance China‑Austria People‑to‑People Exchanges

From 2 to 7 November 2026, at the invitation of Premier Li Qiang of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker of the Republic of Austria paid an official visit to China. The Austrian Chinese Musicians Association (ACMA), as the culture‑sector organization in the delegation, joined the visit and accompanied the Austrian delegation in economic, trade and cultural exchange activities in China, meeting friends from various circles of the two countries and recording memorable moments along the way.

For ACMA, accompanying the Chancellor’s delegation on this visit represents a milestone in the association’s development. As the culture‑sector organization in the delegation, ACMA was able to leverage this high‑level diplomatic platform to connect with government bodies, conservatoires, cities and cultural and artistic resources of both countries, expanding channels for music and artistic exchange at a higher level and advancing the association’s work from people‑to‑people cultural engagement toward regular, institutionalized cooperation.

This official visit provides a new impetus to bilateral China‑Austria relations. Taking this milestone visit as a new starting point, ACMA will continue to serve as a cultural association platform, promote regular and institutionalized music and artistic exchanges between the two countries, and contribute to advancing China‑Austria relations through economic and trade cooperation and mutual cultural learning.
